Light with a mineral touch, hints of rock pools, paraffin, silage, gentle honey, beeswax candles, and white peach. Also, creamy toffee, fudge, vanilla custard, orange zest, tart apples, pink grapefruit, raisins, tobacco, and gentle waxes.
Palate
Moderately waxy mouthfeel with a pinch of white pepper, underripe banana, shortbread, grist, soft ashiness, white grapes, creamy sweetness, Demerara sugar, oak spices, char, toffee, orange marmalade, grapefruit, rhubarb, cassis, cloves, and cinnamon. Unctuously mouth-coating with peppery spices, buttered gingerbread, and barley.
Finish
Medium length with gentle notes of dough, candied banana, soft waxes, grassy, sweet, honeyed, bitter citrus notes, polishes, citrus, sugar, cedar wood, and mixed spices. Initially ginger leading into salted (vanilla) toffee, with a mix of sugar and oak.
