Nose
The typical waxiness from Clynelish is combined with walnut cake with honey, a freshly struck match (only for a bit) and all kinds of citrus fruit, both fresh and candied. Reminiscent of nachos with cheese sauce or miso soup.
Palate
Textbook Clynelish with typical creamy, waxy notes of leather, oranges with a salty note. Oranges dominate, with parsley, earthy notes, vanilla, and a single drop of blood.
Finish
Surprisingly long, with a salty edge returning for an encore.
