Description

A lesser-known Speyside distillery that spent most of its life providing fillings for blended Scotch brands. Established in 1897, it was acquired by the Distillers Company in 1925 and closed by them sixty years later. Its warehouses are now the operational home of Aceo Spirits and Murray McDavid. One of Scotland's most iconic and long-running independent bottling brands. Introduced by Gordon & MacPhail, this Coleburn 1965 17 Year Old is part of their Connoisseurs Choice series. The distillery was mothballed in 1985, a few years after this bottling was released.
