Description

The Canto Cask series, released in 2007, is a range of 16 single cask blended malts from Compass Box. Each cask contained the same whisky, believed to be a blend of Ardmore, Clynelish and Dailuaine, but received a different finish. Canto Cask 35 was finished in American new oak cask #35, toasted to level 5 on Compass Box's scale from 1 to 10. It is bottled at a cask strength of 54.4% ABV. Only 244 bottles were released, exclusively for the Italian market. The malt whiskies are from the Highland villages of Brora, Alness and Carron. It is non-chill filtered.
