Description

This third edition of the Flaming Heart was released in 2010 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Compass Box. It is a marriage of single malts from the Northern Highlands, Islay, and the Islands, specifically 61% Northern Highland and 39% Islay/Island malts. Maturation occurred in 47% refill American oak, 34% first-fill American oak, and 19% new French oak. Only 4,186 bottles were produced.
