Description

Compass Box The Circle Release No. 1 is a vibrant Limited Edition Blended Malt Scotch Whisky, co-created with Rosey Mitchell, the 2018 winner of Compass Box's global bartender advocacy programme, The Circle. Bottled in May 2019 at 46% ABV, this whisky is non-chill filtered and has natural colour. The blend is primarily based on fruity and creamy single malt from Tamdhu Distillery (Speyside), supported by malt whisky from Clynelish Distillery, a touch of peated malt from an Orkney distillery, and a small proportion of a French oak-finished blended malt whisky. It was matured in 1st Fill Bourbon barrels, Refill Sherry Butts, Recharred American Oak Hogsheads, and French Oak casks. Rosey Mitchell aimed to create an approachable whisky, a 'sunshine in a glass', for sharing with friends. There are 6,151 bottles in this limited release.
