Description

The Scottish independent bottler Compass Box has worked together with the Belgian whisky distributor The Nectar for many years. To celebrate The Nectar's 10th anniversary in 2016, Compass Box created this special blended malt. It consists for 50% of Ardbeg whisky that matured in recharred American barrels. The other half is Compass Box's 'Highland malt' blend (Clynelish, Dailuaine and Teaninich) that matured in new French oak casks. The whisky was bottled in October 2016 at 46% ABV. Only 660 bottles of Compass Box 2016 The Nectar 10th Anniversary were released.
