Description

A collaboration between Compass Box and Scottish craft-brewers BrewDog, this is a blended Scotch matured in a high proportion of first-fill American oak barrels and a malt content finished in French oak hybrid casks. Released in 2019, Transistor was part of the Boilermaker series and intended to be the perfect accompaniment to Punk IPA, Brewdog's flagship beer.

Fresh and playful with flavors of juicy peach, white grapes, creamy vanilla, honey, mint, subtle spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, oak, pomegranate, grapefruit, butter, almonds, butterscotch, sharp apple sauce, candied peel, fruity jelly, and cream.
Finish
Medium in length with a clean, gently sweet finish, fresh fruit, soft spice, refined hint of citrus, milk chocolate, coconut milk, vanilla, lingering spices, grapefruit, oak, and a hint of hops.
