Whisky de Table is a blended malt from four distilleries which was matured in barrels sourced from Buffalo Trace in Kentucky. Nose: Intense bubblegum fruit, dates, raisins, strawberry confectionary, lots of musk melon… after the 1st sip, rose, wine fruit and sweet.
Palate: Wow! The peat was so pronounced! Then it settled into a lovely honey – a balance of peat and sweet in perfect harmony.
Finish: Pure peat.

The contrast is what makes this interesting: the nose leans into bubblegum fruit, dates and raisins, while the palate brings pronounced peat against honey and sweetness. That gives it a clear sweet-and-smoky shape, with the pure-peat finish leaving the smoke firmly in view.
