Description

An Irish whiskey distillery situated on the banks of the River Moy in Ballina, County Mayo, established in 2016. This is the first whiskey distilled in County Mayo in over 150 years, and the first release from The Connacht Whiskey Company. It was matured for 5 years in Kentucky bourbon and Oloroso Sherry barrels. The distillery is known for its unusually shaped stills and its location on the windswept Atlantic coast of Ireland, ensuring a uniquely flavorful spirit. This release is non-chill filtered.
