Description

Connoisseurs Choice is one of the most easily recognised ranges from the independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail. This range was launched by George Urquhart in the 1960s, a period where most malts were used in blends, making it an unusual move for the company. This particular bottling is from Convalmore distillery, which closed in 1985, four years after this whisky was distilled. [cite: Scotch Whisky Auctions, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 16, 19, 23]
