Nose
Fruity and chalky, with peach and apricot nectars, honeysuckle and other fresh florals, light, airy personality. Sweet wood and charred barrel character, cherry, leather, trace of earth. Inviting aromas of toasted oak, caramelized sugar, and a touch of cinnamon.
Palate
Mid-weight body, initial syrupy rush of elderflower, backed up by white tea and white peaches, young coconut, barest touch of oak. Vanilla rounds out the malty cereal base. Butterscotch and caramel coat the palate before giving way to a deeper mid-palate of oak and vanilla. Balanced fusion of rich caramel, vanilla, and oak, with subtle notes of spice and a hint of sweetness.
Finish
On the shorter side, with mostly remnants of the palate notes. Some slight charcoal flavors and a fading tinge of cinnamon and menthol. Medium length and dry. Lingering fruit and nutmeg. Baking spices, a creamier but still subtle caramel, a whiff of the fresh baked fruit, a soft pepperiness lingering longest.
