Description

This cask strength release from the Cotswolds Distillery, Founder's Choice Batch #2 2018 Release, is made with 100% locally grown, floor-malted Odyssey barley from the Cotswolds. It is aged exclusively in STR (Shaved, Toasted and Re-charred) American Oak ex-red wine barriques, a process pioneered by the late Dr. Jim Swan. This non-chill filtered whisky offers a rich and intense maturation to the distillery's fruity spirit, with notes of toffee, chocolate, and red fruits, and a beautiful, deep color. It is bottled at 60.9% ABV.
