Description

The Cotswolds Single Malt Whisky is the first single malt whisky ever distilled in the Cotswolds. It is crafted using 100% locally grown, traditionally floor-malted Cotswold barley and aged in a combination of first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels and reconditioned red wine casks (STR). This whisky is non-chill filtered and has natural color.

Nose
A burst of rich, red fruits and spices (cinnamon, clove, nutmeg), honey, demerara sugar sweetness, roasted nuts with a hint of chocolate, and a subtle soapy-sweet herbaceous note. After water, sweeter with gingerbread, shortbread, and honey glazed cereal.
Palate
Creamy butterscotch and ripe red apples, malt, vanilla, orange peel, red berries, pepper, and freshly grated ginger. A nice texture with a big hit of spice (clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper), dark chocolate, cherry, and honey.
Finish
Good length, with oak spices, pepperiness, charred wood, reduced sugars, gentle vanilla, and soft wood tannins.
