Nestled in the idyllic Cotswolds region of England, the Cotswolds Distillery, founded by Daniel Szor, has been producing fine spirits since 2014. This Spanish Oak Matured expression is a Distillery Club Exclusive, crafted with a captivating fusion of Spanish Oak Oloroso sherry casks and the distillery's signature first-fill ex-red wine and bourbon barrels. It is a limited release of 3,500 bottles, free from chill filtration and artificial coloring.

Nose
Sweet, rich and fruity, with oak spice, caramel, red and yellow fruit, brown sugar, some raisin and slight molasse notes. Initial vanilla notes and sweet cooking spices.
Palate
Sweet and spicy, with sugar-coated almonds, toffee, raspberries, hints of lemon rinds, some orange bitterness, dried fruits and some spirity notes. Dried apricots, custard and star anise.
Finish
Quite nutty and spicy, warming Oloroso, dried figs, prunes and slight aniseed. Subtle wood tannin and lingering vanilla.
