Cragganmore Distillers Edition 2012 is an exquisite double matured single malt from the Cragganmore distillery, released annually as a limited edition. The single malt was distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2012 at 40%. A finish in port casks has added extra sweetness and fruity depth to this elegant and sophisticated Speyside whisky.

Very pleasant with a lot of fruit, black cherry, raisins, apple peel, almond, marzipan, yellow apples, strawberries, oranges, bright honey, sweet malty notes, and vanilla.
Palate
Rich mixed fruit, tobacco, leather dryness, medium mouthfeel, light spice, sweetness, buttery, tinned pears, peaches, fruit candy, grassy notes, ginger, fruit tea dryness, smoky undertones, and oak.
Finish
Medium to long, apricots, pepper, oaky expressions (bananas, vanilla, cocoa), and drier.
