Description
A hidden gem in Diageo's crown, Cragganmore is one of the original "Classic Malts". While it isn't seen as a single malt as often as some of its contemporaries, with the majority of production going to blends, its full-bodied, meaty complexity has won it a dedicated fan base. This 1989 vintage was bottled in 2010 as a 21-year-old expression, part of Diageo's highly anticipated Special Releases series. It was matured in refill American oak casks and released at a cask strength of 56.0% ABV, with an outturn of 5,856 bottles.
