Nose
The port influence is evident, offering sweet, fruity, and fresh aromas of Earl Grey tea, oranges, honey, and fudge. Some notes of honeysuckle, a pinch of peat smoke, cucumber, pepper, and fresh leather can also be detected.
Palate
Initially sweet and firm, with honey, Earl Grey, and espresso notes, accompanied by spices like cinnamon and a slight oakiness. It presents a full-bodied, oily texture with dark sweetness of port, plums, oak char, and cocoa, along with subtle smoky undertones and a hint of peat.
Finish
Dry to medium-long, with lingering honey and a touch of smoke. It offers expressions of oak, bananas, vanilla, and cocoa, concluding with a drier character.
