Description

This is a nineteen-year-old single malt from the Cragellachie Distillery. It was originally released for the travel retail market. This is an exceptionally well-balanced Speyside whisky, and the first in a series to be released by the distillery.

Bursting with tropical fruit (pineapple, mango), sugar cookies, roasted nuts, candied ginger, lemon zest, and vanilla custard, with hints of earthy wood and a subtle sulphury note.
Palate
Full-bodied and oily, with creamy vanilla, malty sweetness, rich toffee, caramelised orchard fruits, ginger, cinnamon, pepper, and a characteristic waxy, sulphury depth.
Finish
Long, warming, and evolving with notes of sweet oak, dried tropical fruit, biscuity sweetness, and a lingering subtle spice and sulphury character.
