Description

A 23-year-old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Craigellachie, bottled in 2014 as part of the Batch Number 67-KA23. This limited edition release was part of Dewar's Last Great Malts campaign and was matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks. It is non-chill filtered and bottled at 46% ABV. Known for its distinctive 'meaty' and 'sulfury' character, it was awarded Best Whisky in Show at the 2015 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Medium, oily mouthfeel with tart and sulfury notes, oak oils, grapefruit, orange, baking spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, creamy vanilla, salted caramel, and tropical fruit sweetness.
Finish
Long, with oily oak, toasted almonds, resin, mild bitter sulfur, maltiness, tart apple, dried grass, and lingering sweet spices and dark tropical notes.
