Nose
An unusual, but pleasant, burnt / rubbery note, almost savoury. Notes of yeast extract, Bovril, or Frankfurters on a sweet brioche roll. Worm tub driven complexity, with toasted oak, earthy, grassy, and vegetal notes.
Palate
Much sweeter, with Madeira cask influence. Thick honey, toasted brioche rolls, marzipan, lush Demerara sugars, dark toffee, and a touch of allspice. Explosive, full-bodied, with Middle Eastern pastries, dates, and more spices.
Finish
Dark caramel and warm spices. Dried plums and acacia honey. Long and mouth-coating.
