Nose
A delicate aroma with sweet honey, apples, sweet malt, mild spices, and a smoky, earthy, slightly medicinal character.
Palate
Extremely rich and balanced, featuring nuts, honey, peaches, toffee, orange peel, a nice bitterness, and a definite bonfire smoke with Islay influence. Aggressive, crisp, gingery, young fresh corn notes with bitter almond, marzipan, sage, savory nettle, and sour apple.
Finish
Unique and complex, short and uneventful, with lingering oranges and smoke. Grain-rich vanilla and slightly yeasty peat.
