Description

Morrison & MacKay are relatively new to the independent bottling scene, although they are definitely not amateurs in the whisky world. The Morrison in the company name refers to one of the sons of the legendary Stanley P. Morrison, Brian. Morrison & MacKay try to run their company in a way that is least damaging to the environment with a particular focus on avoiding using unnecessary packaging. This is a smoky single malt from Loch Lomond, released under the Croftengea name and independently bottled by Càrn Mòr. This release from the Strictly Limited series was distilled in 2010 and matured in a pair of hogshead casks until 2020, when it was bottled at 47.5% ABV with an outturn of 750 bottles.
