A bottle of Crown Royal Fine De Luxe Blended Canadian whisky produced by Joseph E Seagram & Sons Limited. This blend was created in 1939 for a state tour by King George VI. It is a masterful blend of 50 hand-selected whiskies, offering a velvety smooth texture with hints of oak and sweet vanilla.

Rich and robust, with slight hints of vanilla and fruit, gingerbread, fresh-cut dry cedar lumber, vague citric notes, prunes, black fruits, red apples, caramel, sweet peaches-and-cream corn, clove oil, rye spices, leathery tobacco leaves, lilacs and pansies.
Palate
Delicately smooth and creamy with hints of oak and vanilla flavour, sweet caramel, citric pith, vague hints of oak tannins, sweet toffee, spice, nuttiness, sweet maple, buttery dry oak, grilled sweetcorn, candied fruit, charcoal and black pepper spice.
Finish
Long and lingering, with notes of citric zest, pith, peppery fruitiness, cinnamon, black pepper spice, coal dust, buttery oak, molasses and custard.
