Thicker and spicier than the 12 year old, with rich sherry and honey liquor, gentle peat smoke, malt, barley, vanilla, green pastures, balanced sweetness, and chocolate-coated sultana.
Palate
Sweet sherry with spice, chocolate fondant, ripe orange, candied orange peel, glazed cherry, tart raspberries, soft peat, and a dense, intense oak bitterness that evaporates into a bitter-dry fog.
Finish
Long and lingering, with wood polish, bitter-dry oak, and sweetness sparkling with plum jam.
