Nose
Organic and rugged sherry style, dry earthiness with natural rubber, treacle, salted almonds, cocoa powder, softer leafy tones, old leather, vibrant citrus zest, ripe apple, dried apricots, subtle cherries with cinnamon spice, delicate clover, and distinct oak notes.
Palate
Bigger and more powerful, notes of clove, dark chocolate with sea salt, hardwood resins, camphor, sultana stewed in Armagnac, bold caramel, dried figs, roasted nuts undertones, hint of black pepper, and a velvety texture.
Finish
Long, wonderfully mentholic, syrupy dark fruit sweetness, robustly spicy notes of black pepper and clove, warming, lingering, nutmeg, dark plummy sweetness, and toasted oak with gentle spice layers.
