Description

Daftmill is a family-owned farm distillery in Fife, Scotland, known for its artisanal, farm-to-bottle approach. The distillery operates seasonally, using Optic barley grown on its own estate and water from its private spring. This 2009 Summer Batch Release is an 11-year-old Lowland single malt, distilled in August 2009 and bottled in 2020. It was matured in a combination of bourbon barrels and an Oloroso sherry butt, marking the first time sherry casks were included in some releases. This limited edition release showcases Daftmill's elegant, orchard fruit-led style with added sherried depth.
