Description

An exciting single cask release from independent bottler Little Brown Dog Spirits, this Dailuaine was distilled in 2009 and matured for 16 years in an ex-Islay refill hogshead. Bottled at cask strength, natural colour, and non-chill filtered, only 253 bottles were produced. This release is notable for its unusual peated character, a result of its maturation in a peaty Islay cask, which is a departure from Dailuaine's typical unpeated profile. The label design represents the old Dailuaine locomotive on the Speyside line.
