Description

A malt distillery in Speyside that predominantly provides fillings for the blended Scotch brands in the Diageo portfolio. As such, the only permanent official bottling is the 16-year-old from the Flora & Fauna collection and its single malt is more often found bottled independently. An independent whisky company established in Glasgow in 2020, Brave New Spirits, released this Dailuaine 10-year-old as 'Mask of Death Batch 001' for their 'Whisky of Voodoo' range. It was matured in Virgin oak and first fill bourbon casks and bottled at 51% without colouring or chill filtration.

A very herbal nose with notes of gooseberry, apricot, sweet barley, honey, grist, vanilla, tight tannins, almond, citrus, fern and nettle.
Palate
Opens with milky/creamy oak, toffee, barley, citric and malty notes with spices, sweet barley and citrus.
