Nose
Blackberry bread and butter pudding, split vanilla pods and sunflower oil sit alongside ginger snap biscuits and toasted almonds. Very bright and fruity up front with apples, pear cider and citrusy notes, a bit of blackberry type crumble, vanilla and clotted cream.
Palate
Golden syrup is drizzled over apples and grapes, whilst brandy butter is livened by cask spices – ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg. A fruit bomb with apples, pears, white grape and blood orange, and a bit of cinnamon spice on the back end.
Finish
Darker and deeper maltiness with lingering spice. Long fruited finish with a touch of cinnamon at the end.
