Although Direct Wines are the world's largest mail-order wine retailer, the company also provides independent whisky bottlings. The most well-known of their ranges is the First Cask series, showcasing single cask whiskies bottled at 46% ABV from a wide variety of distilleries. This 24-year-old unblended malt was distilled on 5th June 1979 at the now closed Dallas Dhu distillery and bottled by Direct Wines Ltd for their First Cask range.
