The Dalmore 21 Year Old 2022 Edition is a rare single malt introduced in June 2022 as the pinnacle of The Dalmore's Principal Collection. This expression was initially aged in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and then hand-finished in 30-year-old Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks from Gonzalez Byass. It is released annually in limited quantities, with the inaugural 2022 release consisting of 8,000 bottles globally. It offers a complex profile with notes of Seville oranges, Colombian coffee, rich vanilla, bitter dark chocolate, sweet liquorice, blackberries, walnuts, and marzipan, leading to a finish of peaches, ginseng, and orange citrus.
