Description

The Dalmore 25 Year Old is a luxurious Highland single malt Scotch whisky, part of The Dalmore's Principal Collection. It undergoes a complex maturation process, initially in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. It is then divided, with a portion matured in 25-year-old Palomino Fino sherry butts and the remainder in first-fill bourbon casks. These whiskies are then married in bourbon barrels before a final finishing period in Tawny Port pipes. Some expressions also include maturation in 30-year-old Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks from González Byass. This elaborate cask journey results in an elegant, rich, and profoundly complex whisky, bottled at 42% ABV. Only 3,000 bottles are produced globally per year, making it a limited edition release.
