Nose
quite fresh with stemmy hay and malty barley. Notes of heather smoke and a gentle cereal mouth feel with zesty orange.
Palate
quite delicate and refined; there are notes of zesty orange and orange liqueur, hints of blossom and a subtle chocolate. A little anise and fennel creeps in with a touch of spice.
Finish
medium-length, there is a good balance as it fades out with a touch more orange zest and dry, peppery oak.
