Description

The Dalmore Gran Reserva is a Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky, positioned as a luxury brand. It was introduced to replace the popular Dalmore Cigar Malt. This expression is crafted from whiskies typically aged between 10 and 15 years, drawn exclusively from first-fill oak casks. The maturation process involves a combination of Oloroso sherry butts and American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, often in an approximate two-thirds sherry to one-third bourbon ratio, followed by a marriage period of around six months in sherry butts.
