Description
Dal munach is one of the newest and most modern distilleries in Scotland, built by Pernod Ricard (Chivas Brothers) in 2014 on the site of the former Imperial Distillery. It was commissioned to produce spirit for their blended Scotch brands, but also releases single malts as part of the Distillery Reserve Collection. This 4-year-old single cask expression was distilled on 17th December 2015 and bottled on 1st August 2020 at cask strength of 59.0% ABV. It was matured in a 1st Fill Barrel and is non-chill filtered. The Distillery Reserve Collection offers special cask strength releases uniquely available at distillery visitor centres, providing enthusiasts with something different from core range bottlings.
