Nose
Fresh notes of Oloroso embrace malty, honeyed Dalwhinnie. Peaty and still heathery, with hints of fruit, oatmeal cookies, lemon, golden delicious apples, sultanas, bananas, light honey, hay, and a touch of oak.
Palate
A big, spicy buzz with clear, well-defined malt. A quick burst of sweetness, rich and grapey, with decadent spiciness, candy-coated almonds, dark berry jam, and nutty sherry notes.
Finish
Tons of oak, very dry, with vanilla dominating. Citrus, cloves, cinnamon, and a hint of peat, with a full and spicy character.
