The climate and soil was perfect for growing quality barley, along with the excellent air quality and sea breeze that gave good storage during maturation. Dartmoor Whisky Distillery is an independent, small-scale distillery focusing on making quality single malt English whisky on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. They use a vintage 1966 ex-Cognac still. This particular expression is a Port Cask matured single malt.
