A 12 year old single malt from the Highland distillery called Deanston, bottled to celebrate the Millennium. It has been presented in a gift box for Stirling Council, which comes with two Edinburgh Crystal glasses which have etchings of the Wallace Monument & Stirling Castle.

Fresh hays of summer, malty cereal, rich creamy toffee and honeyed heather, balanced with sweet oak and barley sugar, with hints of citrus, vanilla, and ginger.
Palate
Smooth creamy sweetness with sumptuous hints of fruit (apple, orange, grapefruit), malty honeyed spiciness, soft vanilla, and a buttery/waxy/silky texture. Notes of chocolate orange, lemon, and almonds.
Finish
Crisp and satisfying with a tingle of cloves, sweet oak, pepper, and a medium-long fade. Notes of caramel, toasted oak, and oranges.
