Nose
Raspberry, dark cherry, and cassis dominate. Below the fruit lies a layer of honeyed malt, muscovado sugar, subtle vanilla, and oak spice—with citrus oils and a whisper of red wine acidity.
Palate
Firm and punchy. A combination of blackberries, strawberry compote, and stewed red fruit gives way to nutmeg, clove, and black pepper. The wine cask yields tannic structure, balancing the sweetness.
Finish
Long, dry, and spiced. The tannins stay forward, along with earth, clove, and tobacco leaf notes lingering after the fruit recedes.
