Description

Signatory was founded by Andrew Symington in 1988. After discovering single cask single malt whisky while managing Prestonfield House Hotel, Andrew bought his first cask, a Glenlivet 1968, and is now one of the largest independent bottlers in Scotland. Nose
Sweet and fruity with notes of raisins, dates, milk chocolate, leather, pastries, and some ethanol. With water, butteriness, brighter fruits, and tropical notes like guava appear.
Palate
Creamy mouthfeel with red berries, strawberries, milk chocolate, oatmeal raisin cookies, honey, and toffee. Also features white pepper, malty sweetness, orange zest, dried fruit, cinnamon, orange peel, old oak, nutmeg, and classic Deanston nuttiness.
Finish
Long, spicy, with red berries, cinnamon, milk chocolate, and toffee. With water, it becomes shorter but accentuates creaminess, milk chocolate, and toffee, along with orange zest and candied peel.
