Description

This 17-year-old single malt from Deanston was distilled in 2002 and matured for 14 years in refill whisky casks before being transferred into organic PX casks in May 2016 for finishing. It is a limited-edition release of 3102 bottles, bottled at cask strength of 49.3% ABV, without chill-filtration or added colouring. Made with organically sourced barley, it showcases the distillery's 100% natural process.

Very dry and slightly sulphurous, with a whole basket of dried fruits, raisins and dates.
Palate
Sweet caramel, mouth-coating maple syrup, more caramel & fig and spice from the cask.
Finish
