Description

Created to be a sweeter, lighter Blended Scotch Whisky, this was the first whisky created by Stephanie Macleod. It is made from specially selected single malt and single grain whiskies that are at least 15 years old and have been matured in a variety of oak casks, including sherry and bourbon. Once blended, the whiskies are allowed to 'Marry' in vintage oak casks for several months to make the blended scotch whisky incredibly smooth, with many subtle layers of flavour in perfect harmony. It is golden in colour with a red hue.

Nose
Intricate honeyed aromas overlay notes of warm pear, stone fruits, freshly milled grains, and blanched almonds. Divine stone fruit aromas of apricot, honey, vanilla icing, malt bins, Quaker Oats Squares, and lofty floral top notes.
Palate
Balanced and robust, with notes of whole-grain bread, brown butter, warm honey, and salted caramel. Sweet mandarin, brown sugar, vanilla fudge, strands of finely shredded peel, and more spice than the 12 year old can muster. Unusually smooth, with flavour notes of honey, toffee and floral.
Finish
The sweet vanilla aftertaste is softer and more elegant than the younger expressions.
