Dewar's 8 Year Old Caribbean Smooth Rum Cask Finish is a Blended Scotch Whisky, the first in Dewar's series of double-aged cask finishes. It is crafted from up to 40 malt and grain whiskies, each aged for a minimum of 8 years, and then finished for approximately six months in ex-Caribbean rum casks. This process aims to deliver extra smoothness and a unique flavor profile with notes of brown sugar, caramel, and tropical fruits.
