Description

John Dewar began blending whisky in 1846, and Dewar's Signature is a premium blended Scotch whisky, crafted from rare, aged single malts and grain whiskies. It is known for its smooth and balanced flavor, with notes of honey, vanilla, and fruit. The whisky undergoes a 'double aging' process, where the blend is returned to vintage oak casks for further maturation to enhance smoothness and complexity. It was developed by Dewar's sixth Master Blender Tom Aitken.

Sweet and creamy with overtones of vanilla, caramel, honey, full-bodied, velvet texture, mixed conserves, chocolate, berries, rich toffee, buttery vanilla, faint peat, burnt sultana sherry, smooth, easy, rock candy, black licorice, toffee, ripe fruit, and gentle smoke.
Finish
Dry, subtle, with a slight hint of oak, smooth, warm, long, pleasant aftertaste, smoky acacia honey, lingering barley notes, oaky spice, woodsy floral notes, refined, soft oak, and malt sweetness.
