Description

Founded in 2017 by Jeff Dugas and John Cubelic, Alabama-based Dread River Distilling Co. began as a craft whiskey distillery and has evolved into a bar, event space, and merchandise shop. Located in Birmingham, Alabama, it is the largest distillery in the state. This 3 Year Old Rye Whiskey was distilled in 2020 and bottled in 2023. It was finished in domestic sherry casks, resulting in a structured, sweet, and spicy spirit. It has received multiple awards, including Gold at the 2023 Bartender Spirit Awards and 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
