Description

A bottle of The Dublin Liberties 10 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey from the Copper Alley series. This whiskey was matured for 10 years in bourbon barrels and finished in 30-year-old Oloroso sherry casks. It is non-chill-filtered and bottled at 46% ABV. This limited release pays homage to Copper Alley, one of Dublin's oldest and most raucous streets.

Sweet aromas of delicate honey & powdered sugar with floral notes of apple blossom & red fruits, sherried peels, custard creams, and a flash of hot cinnamon.
Palate
Deep fruit notes of baked plums & ripe red grapes, gorgeous oak & golden syrup, dark chocolate, raisin, oily walnut, thick and wine-like mouthfeel, crumbling sugar, loaf cake, and toffee.
Finish
Long lingering finish of rich, dark chocolate, nutty notes leaning towards sugared almond, residual dried fruits, and a slightly drying peppery note.
