Description
This is a 32-year-old Single Grain Scotch Whisky from the now-closed Dumbarton distillery, independently bottled by Douglas Laing as part of their XOP (Xtra Old Particular) range. Distilled in 1986 and bottled in 2018 from a single refill barrel, this limited release of 112 bottles is presented at a natural cask strength of 61.6% ABV, without coloring or chill filtration. Dumbarton was a significant Lowland grain distillery, primarily producing whisky for blends like Ballantine's, making independent bottlings like this a rare opportunity to experience its character.
