Nose
Sweet on the nose. Raisins. Redcurrant. Oak. Prunes. Cloves.
Palate
Warming, rich and very sweet. Dark red fruit. Soaked Raisins. Hint of oak tannins. Nutmeg and cloves. Rosemary. Dry tobacco. A bit waxy and clinging to the tongue. Underripe cherries. A hint of burnt sugar.
Finish
Very long, warm and tingly. Sweet and fruity. Oak tannins stay present throughout the whole tasting but never dominate the experience. Sherry-notes stay in the back of the throat for a long time.
