Description
Edradour 17 Years Old Bordeaux Cask Finish 1999 is a limited-edition single malt from the Edradour distillery, drawn from just three casks. The whisky initially matured in ex-bourbon hogsheads for over 13 years. It was then recasked into freshly dumped Premier Grand Cru Bordeaux hogsheads and finished for 42 months, before being bottled in February 2017 at a natural cask strength of 55.8%. The single malt has aromas of soft fragrant blackberries, almonds and a hint of coffee. The palate reveals delicate wine tannins, red berries and a gentle ash.
